Exporting Publications from TUMFIS to ORCID

The research information system TUMFIS enables TUM researchers to export publications to ORCID. Once set up, publicly visible publication records from the TUMFIS profile are automatically synchronized with the researcher’s ORCID iD on a regular basis.

The non-profit organization ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is an international identification system that makes researchers uniquely distinguishable. The associated ORCID iD is a persistent, personal 16-digit identifier that allows publications and research activities to be clearly attributed to a specific individual.
