Citing

In line with the motto “Cite it right,” this course will teach you how to cite correctly and avoid unintended plagiarism. Understanding the fundamentals of citation in academic writing, along with practical tips for applying them, will help you navigate the citation jungle with confidence. Take the course, have your lightbulb moment, and cite without worry!
In this course, we will address your specific citation questions from academic practice. A brief refresher on the basics at the beginning, followed by collaboratively developed solutions for the questions you bring to the course. Peer exchange will lead to success, even for citation challenges of the highest level!
This tutorial focuses on the effective use of direct and indirect citations in the text. We will practice placing in-text references correctly, separating paraphrases from each other, and citing different sources. Strengthen your ability to cite confidently and precisely in your seminar paper, bachelor's, or master's thesis!
